Krav Maga Classes In South Dublin

Official Krav Maga Global Classes for beginners, now available in South Dublin (Rathgar, Dublin 6) Next beginner classes in “The Gym”, 75 Orwell Road, Rathgar, Dublin 6 starting in May.

Classes are aimed at beginners and will progress from there. First class starts on 30 April at 7pm, and following that will run each Monday from 7-8pm.

This is a chance to become a member of the official Israeli KMG, to learn the correct and full curriculum, as set out by Eyal Yanilov, and to grade and progress through the system, achieving internationally recognised levels. There is nothing like it in the area – don’t miss your chance! All students in the class will start at beginner level.

The focus of my last article was around a ‘display of dominance’ type of attack – the beta gorilla challenging the authority of the head of the band. He is the one with “something to prove”. What he wants to take from you is your status and your pride, so he can boost his own. A truly needy person, who we might describe in everyday language as having “confidence issues”. 5 Easy Self-Defence Tips

Despite what you see in the movies or what you saw in the schoolyard as a child, most adult fights are over in seconds, and leave at least one victim with serious injuries or worse, not to mention the psychological aftermath. There is nothing flash or sexy about it – it’s an uncontrolled, unattractive mess, and one you want to avoid at all costs. Assuming you are not the violent type (if you are, this article isn’t for you … and please don’t bother signing for our course), and you are not intentionally offering any provocation, then it might seem like an attack came out of nowhere and that there was nothing you could do to avoid it. In reality, there is usually a “reason” for the attack, that boils down to the attacker wanting to get something from you – not always material. Here are 5 basic self-defence tips that might help you when confronted with unwanted aggression.
