Instructor

The Chief Instructor at Pro Krav Maga Academy in Dublin is Paul Duffy.

A native of Dublin, he has trained in several martial arts since childhood, both “hard” and “soft” styles, as well as reality combat systems and hand-to-hand combat, and has a clear understanding of the distinctions between sport and real life.

He is Israeli trained and qualified to teach Krav Maga, and is still an active affiliate of the Krav Maga Global headquartered in Israel.

He teaches defence against both armed and unarmed assault. The aim of his classes however is to make them accessible and fun for regular people, while still imparting the life saving skills they incorporate.

Paul is also is a member of the Irish Institute of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), a modern and cutting edge branch of performance psychology, based around the science of learning and personal change. By incorporating this into the design of his training programs, he is able to deliver courses that are easily and quickly absorbed, so that they can stay with his students after the course is complete.
